Following the success of last year’s BSG Gerontologist in Residence Programme, Zinc and the Dunhill Medical Trust are delighted to launch a call for applications for the 2024-2025 Innovation Fellowships in Healthy Ageing.
This is a fully-funded 6-9 month programme, starting in September 2024, for researchers to accelerate their careers through immersion in the world of commercial innovation, supporting the development of tech-enabled products and services that contribute to healthy ageing. Researchers apply their skills in strategic projects at start-ups and scale-ups, and have the opportunity to engage in training, support and mentoring to help them translate their skills, explore new career opportunities, and connect with other talented researchers.
These 6-9 month fellowships, beginning in September 2024, give researchers the opportunity to join a cohort of 14 other researchers and:
Gain hands-on, immersive innovation experience in relevant, impactful ventures
Develops entrepreneurial skill sets and mindsets through group workshops, expert 1:1 mentorship and executive coaching
Grow their professional networks with fellow researchers, entrepreneurs and Zinc’s wider start-up eco-system.
Accelerate research impact and advance scientific knowledge for economic and social impact
